Good questions.
Can I change the site myself later?
Yes. You change texts and images yourself, no coding skills needed. We show you how at handover, and it's all in the written guide. For bigger changes, we charge CHF 90 an hour, based on an estimate and your approval.
What if I don't like the draft?
Then you pay nothing and we stop there. The CHF 500 only becomes due once you approve the draft in writing.
Do I have to host with kenit.?
No. Hosting and domain with kenit. cost CHF 180 in the first year, then CHF 360 a year, with daily backups. This applies to every package. You can cancel any time, and you get an export of your website. If you run the site yourself, you owe us nothing for it. The website is yours once it's paid in full.
How many logins do I get?
Exactly one. With it, you change texts, images and opening hours. Design, technology and updates stay with us, so there's nothing for you to look after.
We register your domain in your name. Or you keep your existing one and add two lines at your provider. We'll show you which ones.
Can I give the website to someone as a gift?
Yes. You choose the package and pay for it. The person receiving it talks things through with us, decides on the content and approves the draft. Once everything is paid, the website belongs to the person receiving it.
Do I get anything for recommending kenit.?
Yes, CHF 100. If a new client places an order of at least CHF 999 on your recommendation, not counting hosting and monthly plans, you get CHF 100. You choose: cash or a credit, for example on hosting. We pay once the new client has paid in full. There is one reward per new client, for the person they name first. The new client simply gives us your name when they get in touch. If you work for the new client or for a public authority that orders, we only pay the reward with your employer’s written approval.
The small print
- One page means one content page of up to around 600 words and eight images. The legal notice, privacy policy, thank-you page and error page don't count and are always included.
- Images, logo and your details arrive in one complete delivery by the agreed date. If content is missing for more than four weeks, the project is put on hold and rescheduled.
- One round of revisions is included, with all feedback sent together. Each further round costs CHF 150.
- Live within 7 working days once you have approved the draft and the complete content and payment are in.
- We write the texts and translate them into the other two languages. You check specialist terms and facts during the revision round.
- Not included: photo shoots and extra pages. Not something we offer: legal advice and native apps.
- Anything beyond what we agreed: CHF 90 an hour, always with an estimate first and your written approval.
Request a draft.
Choose a package. For each one, we make a draft first, free and with no obligation. Only then do you decide. We'll get back to you within two working days.
